Edward John, RTPI

Edward is a professional urban planner with more than 22 years’ experience in both the private and public sector. He has spent  most of his career within the public sector – most notably 18 years working for the City of Hamilton in both housing and planning related roles. Edward has applied his substantial planning and housing knowledge across the globe, practicing his profession in the UK, Australia and Canada.

Edward has been responsible for numerous large-scale planning projects, including high density mixed use projects, large scale residential subdivisions as well as notable city initiated developments in Hamilton such as the redevelopment of Piers 7&8.

Edward is a graduate of two educational institutions. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Southampton and a Masters of Arts degree from King’s College University London.  Edward is a full member of the Royal Town Planning Institute.
